Vacuum Stoppering

Our vacuum stoppering system consists of a quick
change autoclavable stoppering head containing a
sealing surface for the vial with an integral vacuum
chamber. The system includes vacuum and inert gas
injection ports and a proprietary control system. Utilizing
high speed pressure transducers, the system provides
the user with adjustable set points, accuracy and speed,
to yield the highest throughput possible.

This state of the art system gives the improved oxygen
control necessary for products that prematurely degrade
in the presence of oxygen. It is done on a conventional
filling machine without the need for special enclosures or
the excess consumption of the inert gas supply.
Throughput depends on the head space volume and
residual oxygen level required. However, typical cycle
times of 20-30 vials per minute, per head have been
achieved.
